Features Education 11

The Cricket Team of the Directorate of Education was formed in the year 2016 by the then Director General Mohammad Shine IAS.
This team was participated by the employees of Higher Education, Primary Education and Secondary Education.
Team education was prepared by joining the employees of all the three directorates.Dr.
Kuldeep Singh Beniwal, the then Deputy Director working in the Directorate of Higher Education, gave full cooperation in preparing this team.
Team Coordinator and Team Operation was done by Mr.
Dinesh Kaushik, Captain.
A net was installed in the rear of the directorate for the practice of the team.
Thereafter the team got full support from Shri Rajiv Ratan, IAS then Director, Secondary Education.
Shri Rajiv Ratan, IAS made special arrangements for good pitch and lights on the net so that the team of Directorate did not face any kind of difficulties during the practice.
With the approval and cooperation of Shri Vijay Singh Dahiya, IAS, the then Director General of Higher Education, in the financial year 2019-20 (November to February), a cricket tournament was organized by the Directorate of Higher Education for the employees working in the Directorates and Board Corporations of Haryana State.
Teams from 16 departments participated.In this tournament, the team of Education Department got the 3rd position.
In March 2021, the team of Directorate of Education secured 2nd position in a tournament organized by Haryana State Warehousing Corporation.Shri Rajiv Ratan, IAS and Shri Jagdeep Dhanda, HCS also regularly associated with the team of Directorate of Education as players and possible support is being provided to the team at every stage.
